I loved the diversity of East High School. There are many opportunities for students to succeed. East High School is a safe place for students to explore many different creative outlets and offers classes for students to explore future career opportunities. The faculty at East High School promote growth and development in their students that they can use in future life situations. The students learn to support each other, it has been recognized for its creative friendly cheering section during sporting events. Leaving East High School I felt prepared for college and all it has to offer. Like all school there are some students who do become involved with their education but there are advanced classes offered for students who wish to challenge themselves.

Here at my school there are many extracurricular to choose from academic excellence clubs to diversity directed. For academic excellence clubs and organizations, only students who show a great passion and understanding of the science and match department are specifically chosen. In my school, many students are selected to be a part of these groups. Teachers and staff really support each club an organization provided to the students. One of the most fun options for clubs are the diversity clubs. Clubs like, GSA, Latino Club, Native- American Club, and in general, diversity club, are filled with new experiences in terms of new foods, activities, and history!
East High School was given a very bad name due to how "ghetto" people say it is. For me, I thought of it as being diverse. I see Asian students, black students, Hispanic students, Native American students, and white students all in one building. It was a very good experience because I get to see and learn from all these different religion and cultures. So if you love a diverse community, then you would love this school too.
