I wouldn't say we're the worst school , but at least in the top ten inside the entire district. I started here at East in 2016 and I immediately fell in love with the big, freshly renovated building. I enjoyed how they kept the school clean for the most part and how it's colonial/court styled building felt. The long glass windows giving it a modern touch. Only thing I wish that was better or hope that improves is the population of the school and the administrators/rule making. I think it's a big school that needs a lot of people. As for the administrators, lets just say holding students accountable for their actions wasn't their best job. They created a dumb rule saying that people couldn't wear a simple headband without getting sent home.
East high school is a great school. I graduated from East high school recently and there are great memories to remember from the school. The teachers, principals and counselors are excellent and they commit their time to teach and make sure you are on the right track to graduate.
My overall experience at this school was average. The subjects and teachers were great! I liked that the school had character and history.
