It is an average public school. From my experience, they offer a great variety of classes. They do a program with the local community college where high schoolers can take college classes for free. They offer many sports like soccer, baseball, softball, football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis.

East Henderson High School was an awesome school to attend. Teachers were always willing to help, when you needed it, and most would bend over backwards to help you or get you help inside and outside of school. Some even stayed after school hours to help you with categories you struggle in. Tessa Brown, Coach Barnes, Mr. Z and Ms. Sides went above and beyond for their students. My only complaint for the school overall is the athletic program
Overall good high school. Could be better by improving the diversity of clubs, and by having more funding for our arts departments. Amazing teachers who are dedicated to making connections with and teaching their students. Because of how close it is to Blue Ridge Community College, the opportunities for Juniors and Seniors to take college classes while in high school are amazing and easily accessible.
