I have been enrolled at East Hampton High School for my Freshman and Senior years of high school. For my Freshman year, I was starting to make friends after my middle school years felt isolating. I was also doing well with classes, participating in some Honors courses. For my Senior year, I was able to remake friends on the dot, after 2 years of going somewhere else. I feel much more welcomed and I am able to connect with others more. My classes are very rigorous, 3 AP classes and 1 college level class, but I am doing well in all of these classes as well.
East Hampton High School is a small school with a well-rounded form of education offered to students. Much of the school centers on getting students to that desired level of college-education with not too much to offer for accelerated students with higher aspirations. Diversity and inclusion is a progressive factor being incorporated into the school system yet, nonetheless it strives to create a more well-rounded education base for its students everyday.
It was a great school to go to! For the most part, the school provided many educational opportunities and experiences. The teachers were very nice and understanding, and allowed for a wonderful four years at this high school. I was able to learn a lot and overall, the school was clean and safe, a good place to go to school. However, the food was not good and the administration was lacking in their duties. But overall, the school provided me with the necessary means to get into a good college and allowed me to have a wonderful high school experience.
East Hampton High has the most loving and tight-knit community! The teachers are amazing and the learning environment always feels safe. Very pleased with this amazing High School!
I was always in a lot of clubs in school and honestly they all made me feel so welcome. My favorite Club though would probably be our interact club because it is a really hands on club that gives students an opportunity to volunteer around the community. Also during my freshman year I was a cheerleader, and my sister was the head coach(she is the head of all the cheer squads in my town). Alas I had to stop for injuries But dang it was expensive, most sports in my school charge around $150 to join and that doesn’t even cover the uniforms and extras here and there that need to be covered.
I love it here at EHHS. The teachers are amazing, and truly care for their students. I've had nothing but good experience through my four years here. Just three years ago they finished renovations the whole school being brand new. The amount of opportunity and growth this school offers is incredible- much better than what I've heard from other high schools in the county.
The size of the school makes it an ideal place to make connections with peers and teachers. The closeness I was able to experience allowed me to be open and voice my opinions. The small size also allowed for better 1:1 time with teachers to better my education.
Wonderful school that prepared me for college in all ways. Provided me with challenging classes, supportive teachers, a multitude of clubs and activities to get involved in, and so many fun experiences that I will never forget. The newly renovated facilities and chromebooks provided for all students keep up with the technology of the era and make an excellent place to learn.
Some of the teachers are extremely helpful and kind, while others are not. The facilities are new and renovated. The small school feel is helpful because I know most people, but sometimes it can be hard to make new friends. The science classrooms are well-equipped and safe. The food at the cafeteria has variety and healthy options. The administrators handle issues well and communicate with the students. The school is kept clean. Sports have decent participation and the coaches are kind and energetic. The fields are taken care of mostly and are prepared for games. The school communicates well with parents and students. For a small school, there is a decent amount of AP courses offered.
East Hampton high school has a welcoming and safe environment. It is a very trustworthy school and the academics are great! Great variety of classes! I would highly recommend EHHS because it honestly is an awesome school
This school is great and the teachers really care about you and your goals/dreams. The clubs are great and you feel at home.
Excellent education and excellent educators. Great school system. Academics are challenging and clubs and activities are plentiful.
I have liked my experience at East Hampton HS. The teachers care about the students, the students are generally nice, and the sports teams are fun.
There are certainly different kinds of extracurricular activities, but there is still a need of more activities
There is usually a good number of parents who are supportive of the activities going on.
Most of the teachers care about you and are very willing to help.
Not a diverse school, but very accepting
