East Hampton High has the most loving and tight-knit community! The teachers are amazing and the learning environment always feels safe. Very pleased with this amazing High School!
I was always in a lot of clubs in school and honestly they all made me feel so welcome. My favorite Club though would probably be our interact club because it is a really hands on club that gives students an opportunity to volunteer around the community. Also during my freshman year I was a cheerleader, and my sister was the head coach(she is the head of all the cheer squads in my town). Alas I had to stop for injuries But dang it was expensive, most sports in my school charge around $150 to join and that doesn’t even cover the uniforms and extras here and there that need to be covered.
This school is a very small school and for the most part the people in it are nice. I mean there are some people that aren't the nicest. But one thing I can always count on is the staff because I know that they always have my back, whether it has to do with school or just my personal life because they just want the best for their students.
I love it here at EHHS. The teachers are amazing, and truly care for their students. I've had nothing but good experience through my four years here. Just three years ago they finished renovations the whole school being brand new. The amount of opportunity and growth this school offers is incredible- much better than what I've heard from other high schools in the county.
The size of the school makes it an ideal place to make connections with peers and teachers. The closeness I was able to experience allowed me to be open and voice my opinions. The small size also allowed for better 1:1 time with teachers to better my education.
Some of the teachers are extremely helpful and kind, while others are not. The facilities are new and renovated. The small school feel is helpful because I know most people, but sometimes it can be hard to make new friends. The science classrooms are well-equipped and safe. The food at the cafeteria has variety and healthy options. The administrators handle issues well and communicate with the students. The school is kept clean. Sports have decent participation and the coaches are kind and energetic. The fields are taken care of mostly and are prepared for games. The school communicates well with parents and students. For a small school, there is a decent amount of AP courses offered.
Above average school has great teachers that will do as much as they can to help you out. Lunches are overpriced and don't fill you up. I see lots of people having to buy second lunches because they are still hungry. Their quality of food is ok there just isn't enough for the price. And there is pretty much no diversity in the school, the majority is white.
East Hampton high school has a welcoming and safe environment. It is a very trustworthy school and the academics are great! Great variety of classes! I would highly recommend EHHS because it honestly is an awesome school
This school is great and the teachers really care about you and your goals/dreams. The clubs are great and you feel at home.
I have liked my experience at East Hampton HS. The teachers care about the students, the students are generally nice, and the sports teams are fun.
They generally do well in maintaining safety for everyone.
There are certainly different kinds of extracurricular activities, but there is still a need of more activities
There is usually a good number of parents who are supportive of the activities going on.
Not a diverse school, but very accepting
Advisories were great for talking about prominent issues such as bullying and sex discrimination, usually the activity or video shown left a positive impact on the student body
Overall looking back at my time at East Hampton High School I must say I will truly miss it. If it weren't for the opportunities I received while attending this school I wouldn't be the person who I am today. I believe one of the most unique things about my school is the care faculty, administration, parents, and students have for one another. Whether it be supporting athletic events, band concerts, or academic honors, the community cares about the success of those who have earned it. I feel the ability to know those around me on a personal basis has allowed me to learn not only how to respect others but how to be involved within my own community. I would say East Hampton High School has provided me with experiences and memories that I will cherish as I move forward into my future endeavors.
