The majority of teachers at this school are very considerate and helpful in situations where I need help. They are often patient and bring a sense of character to amplify their job. Regardless of this, there have been other teachers which don’t show much of their personality and fit into the generic “boring teacher” stereotype. Many are by the book, and for this reason, I haven’t been able to connect with them as well. I really want to see the staff’s connection and interactions with the students change. Although this is very good already, it can always be better. Adults need to understand that we are more than just a calculator or a history book or a statistic. We’re human beings with feelings and we’re going through a very difficult point in our life that requires consideration and support. Many students are placed into negative stereotypes, and instead of challenging this, teachers support it. They need to show students that they can be so much more than they seem.
It was a great school to go to! For the most part, the school provided many educational opportunities and experiences. The teachers were very nice and understanding, and allowed for a wonderful four years at this high school. I was able to learn a lot and overall, the school was clean and safe, a good place to go to school. However, the food was not good and the administration was lacking in their duties. But overall, the school provided me with the necessary means to get into a good college and allowed me to have a wonderful high school experience.
Transferred out because of the lack of opportunity and lack of care of the students. There isn’t much community at this school, but if you grew up in this town you would know that’s to be expected. Wouldn’t recommend!
