East Coweta High School is a pretty great school! Most of my good experiences come from the students and the theater department. Most of the teachers are nice and are very good at their jobs. They are extremely helpful and really want you to succeed in school and in life. We have a very active student body with many clubs and activities to explore. They have one of the best theater departments in the area, in my opinion. The school is very clean and well kept. One bad thing is the mascot of the "Indian". This mascot is offensive to the Native American populations that live around the area, as are some of the "traditions" we have as well (traditional headdresses and garments worn without regard to culture and significance, "Indian princess", portraying Native American's as savage). There is nothing else that comes to mind that is negative about the school. Overall, I received a wonderful education and positive life experiences that I will be grateful for forever.

East Coweta High School is a great school to meet new people. East Coweta is a wonderful place to feel safe, involved, and most importantly to learn while having fun! I am currently a junior, and soon will be a senior. Attending East Coweta over the years I have felt very confident in my learning and relationship with my peers. The teachers at East Coweta do care about your success, and challenge you to be ready for College. Other than the social environment being exquisite, there is a bit of a problem with the cleanliness. The cleanliness of the bathrooms is not the best, but can be better. The only problem with the bathroom is that the toilet may leak sometimes. East coweta is also all about love and happiness! East Coweta head principal name is Mr. Stephen Allen, and every morning during announcements he says the words, “If no one told you this, I love you, and have a good day.” I love the energy given from my high school, and I am proud to be a Indian (Our school mascot).
It was an amazing school. I had a few teachers that were not very good but the majority of mine were very kind and helpful. The school put on awesome events and they have a lot of sport options and art options as well. I personally was in involved in their choir, which was amazing! Our teacher was very good at her job and when we worked together to make the harmonies it was always so cool to hear. The principal is also amazing he is very cool and always says hi to everyone. My experience here at East Coweta was very good I wouldn’t say perfect but it was fun.
