I highly recommend East Central High School! ECHS offers a variety of opportunities for students from all backgrounds of life. The extracurricular activities are very involved with the surrounding community.
As a senior student at East Central High School, it is simple to say that East Central is an extraordinary school to attend. Like every school there has been many oppositions that have been faced , yet the school is still thriving academically and within the student body. East Central is focused on the students’ academics and finding the best ways to support anyone struggling, including a group of ACT tutors that will meet with others during break. What would advance the school even more would be more focus on college readiness. Many students of the class of 2020 have no idea how to apply to college or for any scholarships. College readiness should be pushed and applied in every student’s high school career. With this being pushed more and its already established qualities, East Central High School could become one of the best schools in the state of Mississippi.
