What I liked about East Buchanan High School was the extracurricular activities a student could join. Personally, I chose to join the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and I loved it. The advisor was incredible and passionate as well as a fantastic educator.
What I would like to see changed would be the way teachers are hired and fired from this district. Most of the educators are only allowed to continue working there if they are also good coaches, which really puts a damper on the quality of educator provided by the district.
High school was alright at first, but then when I started to come out of my shell and be less shy, that's when things started to go down hill. Just because I'm different and unique, I got bullied really bad my junior year and even worse my senior year. My high school experience was hell. If everyone could just accept people for who they are no matter what, my high school experience wouldn't have been so bad.
