The overall culture of the school is better than most schools like it in Brooklyn. There is never any fighting still, kids will be kids. People gossip but thats regular high school stuff, its easier to stay out of drama at this school though. Its also a small school there is only about 200 kids and seven Advocate Counselors, so that everyone has someone looking out for them. It's not like other schools where students just feel like another face in the crowd.

The food is pretty good for public school cafeteria food, our cook is actually really good about seasoning food so it doesn't taste bland. Most of the food is pretty healthy (i.e. no white rice, baked sweet potato fries). There is always and alternative for those of us who prefer not to eat meat.
