As a student who attended East Aurora High School for three years, my experiences there were good. There was a variety of clubs and sports. What I liked and utilized best was the solid advice and guidance from counselors and teachers dealing with preparing for college. The art classrooms were my favorite. Not just because I genuinely like art, but because they were recently built and were clean and modern. On the other hand, I really would have liked to see more action and dedication into making the students feel the full pride of going to East!
East Aurora High School (EAHS) is a very welcoming environment, any new student will have no trouble finding a group of friends to join. Although the cafeteria food is not the greatest the teachers and faculty members make up for it by doing their best every day to make EAHS a safe and fun learning environment. There are a wide arrange of classes to choose from with at least three AP choices in each academic area. With a strong competitive sports atmosphere, the categories of small schools are always dominated by EAHS. Being such a small school means that each grade level has under 150 students. That allows for everyone to know each other and for bonds between classmates to grow stronger with every class they are in. East Aurora High School may be small, but its faculty and students make it one of the best places on earth.
EAHS often gets a bad rap, but the staff and teachers are working very hard to give students the best chance for success by developing relationships with them and making various opportunities available to them. Additionally, EAHS students and alumni are doing great things that would go unnoticed and have great potential that would not be realized if not for the strides they are taken in the classes and programs offered there.
