What I liked most about Early College High School was the readiness of things. University is their biggest goal and being able to take dual credit classes was a blessing. I was able to have a form of college experience and learn how a college course compares to a high school class. I appreciate the teachers and staff of the school. Even though they are a small amount they each care about every student that comes through their door. They always see potential in everyone and strive to make everyone a better person. I made a strong relationship with a teacher that I believe will be a lifelong friend. I am able to confide in him and he is an adult that I know I can trust in case anything happens. The college readiness process is very proactive. I know without a doubt that my AVID teacher and counselor have my future in their best interest. Before senior year, I knew nothing about the college application process, however they both guided me this year and I will forever be grateful.

Early College High School, was the best high school I could have ever gone too! It was such an amazing opportunity that I don’t regret taking. I was able to graduate with my high school diploma, and my Associate’s Degree in Science!
Few times are we given the opportunity to exceed our true potential with few limitations; however, Early College High School gave me that opportunity. As a young girl, I didn't think I was capable of taking challenging classes or coordinating my own club, but as a student at ECHS I found out I was capable of so much more. At ECHS I expanded my academic knowledge and now I'm very close to obtaining my associate and high school diploma. Furthermore, I was able to become a confident version of myself; in fact, I became the president of a fundraising club in which we come up with new ideas to fundraise money that can be donated to the Kacie’s Run event. ECHS has many amazing characteristics, but I think there is always room for improvement. Since we are a small school, many of our students don’t have the chance to express their school spirit. I hope in future years our school will find a way for all our students to come closer and manifest their proudness of going to ECHS.
