This school is amazing! It has no sports, very few clubs, music, and arts, but it is still great. All the teachers and students here are so nice. I feel so comfortable with all of them. The school is small and there is about 50 people in my grade which I like because you can get to know everybody. ECHS has good academics and good people and the people make the experience make the high school journey so much better. Literally everyone is so nice I can not stress that enough and I just love it there. This place is like a safe place for people who did not fit in or were bullied at other schools. Cons: No sports and not many clubs, the school food is not the greatest, challenging academics for some. Pros: Prepares for college excellently, very nice people, mean people are socially unaccepted, lots of college resources, great school counselor who will help you through confusing college stuff, lots of internships, scholarships, and programs to help you on your college journey.
Early College High School is a small school with the student population totaling around 200. There are no sports and limited clubs. However, this school is all about you, and supporting your journey after high school. It is a college-focused learning environment that includes dual-enrollment at the local Coastline Community College. Students get a head start on their college education by taking college courses, and through AVID, receive assistance on an incredibly close level for applying to colleges. The AVID program is incredibly beneficial, especially its class for seniors, to preparing for a future in college and beyond.
However, this school is not intended for dedicated athletes who wish to pursue sports. The school does not have it's own team for anything, but does provide P.E., Dance, and the opportunity to have a physically active club. In my junior year, I was part of a Hiking Club.
Ultimately, this is a fantastic school and I'm immensely grateful I attended here.

I’ve found that being at Early College is the best experience I could hope for. The teachers generally make their instructions very clear and are always looking to challenge the students and help them learn. The principal is very involved and makes sure to stay in contact with both parents and students, always keeping us aware of school happenings and new opportunities in the area. The school culture is very accepting; generally, students can go up to anyone and talk and they won’t be seen as weird or get made fun of. It’s a very small school, so it’s a very safe environment; there haven’t been any fights when I have been there and if there were, they would be stopped very quickly. Generally, students are pretty responsible and are looking to succeed.
