My four years of attending the Early College has been a great experience for me to take high school and college courses throughout my high school. It's grouped with students who want to accelerate into their education to achieve an Associate's Degree and High School Diploma by the time they graduate from high school. Personally, I enjoyed the Early College because it give me an opportunity to get far into my education that I wouldn't expect a high school student taking college classes in the same league as adults. I was able to grow more as a person to become fully aware of the responsibilities and sacrifices that I have to make during these years in order to be successful in my classes. I liked about my school was that they prepare us for the college readiness of what is to be expected, so the school itself runs like a college level. One change that I would like to see is to choose our own degree plan from the start and not follow a specific plan that all students must go through.
My experience in this high school was great, I was part of the first graduating class from there and even though we did not have things like a regular high school did, I still enjoyed my time there and it even prepared me for college and life as well.
