One of the defining features of my high school experience was the academic rigor of the coursework. From challenging math and science classes to intensive writing and literature courses, I was constantly pushed to think critically, analyze complex ideas, and develop essential skills that would serve me well in college and beyond. While this could be overwhelming at times, I appreciated the rigor of the academic environment, as it forced me to grow and learn in ways that I might not have otherwise. In addition to academic coursework, my high school experience was also marked by a rich and varied social landscape. From close friendships to romantic relationships to the challenges of navigating social hierarchies, I was constantly pushed to develop my social skills and learn how to interact with others in a respectful and constructive manner.
I really enjoyed Eaglecrest! Everyone is very nice and it’s such a warm environment. I’ve learned a lot from being a raptor, and the academic environment is the best. The teachers are so nice and are there to guide you through your high school years. The administration really do care about you succeeding as a raptor.
Eaglecrest is a 5a public high school located in eastern Aurora, which is the 2nd largest city in Colorado. The school offers AP, Concurrent, Honors and College Prep courses. Our student population is diverse and competitive. We have top sports programs with current state champions in Poms and Cheer. You'll be sure to find a club or two to join. The school spirit is high and we've been known to break a bleacher by jumping while we chat our school fight song: Red, black, white, stand up and fight! It is located in one of the state's largest and well known Cherry Creek School District.
