Excellent, highly personal experience. A perfect environment for high ability scholars looking for a smaller, more creative, engaging program. Project based, hands on curriculum with research-focused AP Capstone program available to high schoolers. Given its emphasis on meeting the needs of gifted & talented learners, the school has a strong academic foundation, but also excels in the arts. They have one of the best student theater programs around. My son struggled to fit in a much larger public environment. Not so here. He’s found his niche. At EAY, teachers are personally involved in nurturing his academic and personal achievements. It’s been a wonderful experience so far.

Finally my son loves to go to school. He’s surrounded with wonderful, sweet, experienced teachers and friends that are eager to learn. Always impressed what my son is doing at this school, and well communication with teachers and parents that will lead to my son’s success academically. I can not thank enough to this school for wonderful experiences we are having.
You don't have to decide between rigorous classes and classes that create a passion for learning at Young. The teachers are wacky and love what they do, and the student population embraces their own nerdy selves. Getting in touch with instructors for extra help is very easy and the administration is really dedicated to helping each student blaze their own trail - even if it means an unconventional trail.
