D.W. Daniel High School Reviews
Rating 4.15 out of 5 179 reviews
Daniel is a very competitive high school, which is very helpful. The teachers really challenge your mind, while guiding you along the way. The best parts of my experience at Daniel have been getting to know the student body pretty well. Student Council really allows you to properly connect with people you might not usually be around! The only struggle Daniel has is that there isn’t as much effort put in to outside of school events. Such as a game nights, movie nights, or anything that will give students opportunities to have fun without academics. That’s a change I would really like to see with Daniel. More involvement outside of school.
Daniel High School is a great school. We have a very diverse population and are set in a college town. There are many activities to participate in including football, basketball, soccer, track, golf, swim, tennis, baseball, softball, cross country, student government, band, cheerleading, dance team, orchestra, theater, language clubs, etc. There is a way for everyone to get plugged in. We have very diverse course offerings, from dual credit to AP to CP to general education. Our county has a state of the art career center with many opportunities to help with college and work after high school. The teachers at our school are supportive and work hard to make our education challenging. Due to our setting in a college town we have a lot of diversity due to being so close to Clemson University. We have students from all over the world who attend our school and we are able to learn about their cultures. Daniel High School is a great school to attend!
Daniel High School has pretty much been my home for the past 4 years. The people are all so great and honestly it felt like I was surrounded by family most of the time. During these past four years I’ve learned and experienced a lot of new things and I’ve also met a lot of new people. Aside from meeting many students, I also had the opportunity to meet a lot of amazing and thoughtful teachers. I had several teachers that I could say completely impacted my high school experience and I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I didn’t meet them. I kind of regret not being apart of more clubs or sports during high school because they all seemed so great. Overall I think Daniel High School is an amazing school! Not only did it teach me so many different things but it also helped me realize what it was like to be apart of a healthy community. There have been so many generations of my family to graduate from Daniel and I’m proud to say that I too graduated and went to D W Daniel high school.
