The school has great teachers, great staff, administrators and students overall. The school culture we’ve built up around here is good, maybe a little too sensitive and grouped separately, but given that we are a k-12 school, we all know and are somewhat comfortable with each other. My only concerns from an student’s point of view, are that there are some biases. Boys aren't allowed to do the things girls can do. They can’t wear leggings under their shorts but girls can under their skirts. Boys aren't allowed to wear skirts but girls can. That means, if you only have shorts and your a boy during the winter months: you’re screwed! Aside from those specific instances, there aren’t any other complaints from me. I felt the education was well spent if you actually apply yourself and the teachers always feel like family.

Ducal Charter starts off as as amazing school, but as the year progresses, teachers and administrators don’t know what they’re doing. If administration knows something in advance, they won’t tell a teacher until a couple days before, leaving the students clueless and not taking it seriously. The school environment is quite toxic too. Students easily get away with things, even more so when their parent volunteers a lot.
Duval charter is more of a school for academics rather than sports, while they do have sports, the programs for it are very weak. The teachers give you a lot more help rather than going to a public school. There are smaller class sizes so you are able to get one on one learning. There a pretty average diversity throughout the school. The deans and assistant principal for 2018-2019 were very good and kept great structure throughout the school.
