Durham Nativity School Reviews

2 reviews
Over the years at DSA, I have had some of the most amazing teachers. Teachers who I look to now as role models and mentors. Many of their teaching styles include hands-on and group work which prove very practical to prepare us for the rest of our lives, while also assigning work that manages to challenge us all as individuals. Along the way I have had some less than stellar experiences with my teachers, but nothing to the degree in that I would change my high school education at all. I believe that Durham School of the Arts, and its teachers, do a wonderful job preparing students for all paths to come.

I spent many years at a small private school, where I did not fit in with such a specific group of people. Upon coming to Durham School of the Arts, I have made lifelong friends and mentors. The school has not only allowed me an environment for me to grow where I kind meet all kinds of people, explore my arts passions, and challenge me as a student in my core classes. I would chose to go to this school if I did it all over again because it is everything you hope for in high school. I know that DSA has prepared me for college and I couldn't be more grateful.
