I was so nervous before I entered high school since I moved to America to study right before I started my freshman year. But Durant teachers, staffs, friends, and the environment have helped me so much. I've grown, learned, and gained knowledge from Durant. I'm also really thankful for all the memories I have had at Durant. The teachers are always ready to help me to understand the lesson when I come to them for tutoring. There are so many clubs and activities that Durant has. Durant gives me the opportunity to be involved in the community and develops my communication, interaction, self- developing, problem- solving skills. The academics, culture, and facilities are all great! I will miss Durant so much! Durant is always in my heart and no matter where I go, I would never forget where I started growing up.

The things I love about Durant High School is that they creat a violent free, drug free, and safe zone for sutdents to learn. All of the teachers are there more than to just teach, they are there to help you succeed in life and be there for you when you need them. The students relationships with the APs and Principal is amazing because we all trust them with everything. Now something I would like to see change is that the bathrooms are really dirty and just are welcoming and friendly. A group of us students are currently trying to approve the idea to paint cute quotes and sayings and art on the walls to make it more exciting and inviting!
Durant High School truly has something for everyone. The academics are stellar, the administration genuinely cares about the success of each student, and there are so many extra curricular activities that it's hard to choose!
