Dunn School is an excellent school with grades 6-12. The middle school lets kids be kids and their school day is filled with fun engaging challenges including 40 mile bike rides, building solar panels, festivals, rock climbing, surfing and mountain-biking. They feed a group of campus pigs the leftover lunch scraps. The upper school has wonderful college counseling and placement as well as excellent teachers who press our children, but care for and support them.

Attending Dunn School for the past 3 years has been a great experience - especially with regard to the incredible diversity of the student body. I was adopted from Nepal, and it was so great to be able to go to school with kids from all over the world. In addition, I had wonderful relationships with my teachers and was more engaged and definitely participated a lot more in class than I would have in a larger school with more kids in each class. I also liked that the school offered many enrichment classes and other activities outside of academics that provided great learning experiences for me.
Dunn School is a very welcoming place. The concept of community is accentuated and reinforced by the involvement of students, faculties, as well as parents. The diversity of culture is meshed in every student's high school experience, which is something very precious to any individual.
