This school is fabulous. The teachers and faculty are so friendly and welcoming and the students are the same. There are many opportunities to get involved in either academics, sports or theater. Everyone has iPads so most of our learning is done via technology. Teachers are willing to help out students to ensure they are not falling behind and the activities throughout the school day and after school are always fun to watch.

My child is a Junior and I see her thriving in areas that I never expected. I believe it has to do with the opportunities provided by Duchesne along with the size of the school. Since the teachers tend to know ALL of the students even before they have them in class, they are able to provide more guidance throughout their four years. There is only one teacher that I have found that needs to retire as he is not as current as the others. Other than that they have all been really good. The Co-ed atmosphere seems to prepare them better for "real-life" situations. It also makes for a much more interesting Pep Rally on Homecoming and Coronation. :)
Duchesne is a challenging co-ed environment for college bound students. It offers a community-based Catholic environment for secondary students, but accepts non-Catholic students with open arms as well. The faculty and staff have long-standing Duchesne roots and are impressive in their dedication to preserving the Duchesne tradition for many generations to come!!!
