My experience at this school wasn't the best. In fact it was far from the best. The problem with this school is its lack of communication between the faculty and its students. Events go unsaid and undiscussed until the very last minute of the event. There is a lack of preparation within the school when it comes to anything. That includes regents, parties, even performances. This school faces the major issue of bad communication resulting in the altering in the future of the student that attend.

In McKinney, you will find a very comfortable and caring environment. The school has a very tight-knit student/staff relationship, almost as if the school itself were a small community. However, the school's comfortability does leave some things to be desired when it comes to discipline and structure. Organization could be a little bit more prevalent as well as communication between students and staff.
Student life at McKinney is a family, even if it's cliche to say so. Students a well connected to one another and the teachers, who all encourage students to achieve greatness. Friendships are valued at this school. These friendships help students create a bond that stays strong, even when friends leave. The teachers really get to know their students on a personal level. It seems to be more than just an academic institution with them, but more like mentorship. They strive to make sure that each student is aware of the resoursces and opportunities that await them in their future.
