This newly renovated school has a lot of opportunities, with sports and Physical Education. There are advanced math classes, such as Algebra and Geometry, and a variety of after-school clubs. In the eighth grade, there are many electives available, from Art, to Technology (really computer science) and Spanish.

This middle school had a nice community among its students. However, the teachers could be easily labeled by whether they cared or not about teaching class. Some were very passionate, while others were quick to anger or easily got distracted. I felt like the school did not prepare many students for college because it would almost never mention any resources for when you graduate. I had only ONE teacher mention AP courses in the two years that I was in that school.
The teachers at Martin Luther King are fantastic! Some teaching styles at Martin Luther King are Facilitator and Delegator. The teachers interest in the students is excellent. The grading is average.
