As a Cigarroa High School Alumni, I am very proud to say that this high school is like no other in Laredo Texas. Nothing but great things can be said about this school! All staff and teachers at Cigarroa are very helpful, respectful, and supportive with their students. Students are very hard working, smart, and responsible. This campus is fantastic in every way you can think of. It's a really unique school and I'm proud to say that I graduated from such an outstanding high school in Laredo Texas. Cigarroa has made history and they continue to strive for the best. All in all, students can feel safe, confident, and call this campus a home. Cigarroa really is the best high school in Laredo and will forever be.

Most student were undetermined. New teachers were filled with motivation and inspiration but that would quickly die over since students were undetermined and not motivated to do anything. I am a vert motivated person but teachers wouldn't help support my motivation since "no one care" I felt held back on what I wanted to do. No funding, no help with resources and many students didn't know how to work financial aid or how to apply for college. The ones who did want to go to college had to learn everything by themselves.
To be completely honest, the school lacked diversity. There was a few good teachers, but many of them were lazy. However, when it came to athletics, the coaches were so nice. Sadly, they weren't as good in coaching skills. This school has my heart however, it depends on the people you hung out with. The schools condition is poor, their roof is practically falling off. When it rained, there used to be puddles in the hallways that were later replaced with trashcans.
