That school was tremendous! The food they gave, the teachers they had, how organized they were, the activities, the education, the opportunities. The only thing I would change would be to orientate the students a little more, like all schools, to teach kids about how to apply to colleges, the different colleges and studies that exist, and prepare them.
Escuela Dr. Carlos González offers a safe and challenging learning experiences.
Their teachers are very caring and goal oriented. They are constantly encouraging students to focus on their goals. In their freshman year students are been encouraged to do research on their selected careers and visit different colleges .
The school also have extracurricular programs such as sports, music and cultural programs that keeps the students active in school at all times.
Moreover, when a student
decreases his performance their parent's are notified to follow up on it with tutoring classes.
The school has a good support crisis intervention team. After a tragic incident with a senior student
the school stopped classes and provided emotional and psychological
support to student and staff.
Dr. Carlos González offers a pre -college environment where students can organized their dreams.
