I am an international student at dowling. Dowling has very professional teachers for many of the advanced classes. Also, if you are looking for a religious education, I believe Dowling is a place to go! I have learned about Catholic faith deeply, and I am planning convert to Catholicism. Besides the Academics, although it is very expensive to play sports at dowling, Dowling is a great school to play sports. School foods are tasty; however, they are also a little pricy compare to what they serve. I do not believe Dowling provide separate English education for International students, so if English is not your first language, then you might suffer a little bit.

Although I have only been a student at Dowling Catholic High School for around 2 years, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time there so far. The school has numerous extracurricular activities that allow students to easily form a group of friends through similar interests. Though Dowling has a decent amount of different classes to choose from, it would be beneficial if they could expand their foreign language department, which only includes French, German and Spanish. Adding languages such as Mandarin would help the students that wish to go into business, as well as form stronger relationships with the foreign exchange students at Dowling, most of which are from China and Korea.
I loved Dowling! They have excellent academics that truly help prepare you for college. You are challenged to do your best work day in and day out, and that is an essential skill to have in college. You are also encouraged to determine your interests in not only potential career choices but also in service. There are so many opportunities for service and involvement at Dowling.
