Donald Elementary School Reviews

All the teachers are consistent with their treatment of the children, their teaching practices and grading principles. They work together to ensure this consistency and provide a nurturing environment for the kids to learn. One of my favorite things was all the different learning techniques that occurred in 3rd grade. They had a wax museum where the children learned about a person and did a biography on that person, they then had to act as if they were that person. They also had colonial day where they taught how things were back in this time from latern, the food that they cook, the clothes that were made. There was another activity where they did a market and made their goods to sell to the other kids teaching them about profit and loss. They also did a restaurant where they learned different skills such as cooking, waitress, cashier where this taught them responsiblity, customer service and economics.

There were many different clubs to choose from at Donald Elementary such as jump rope club, art club, mad science and video production club, choir and drama. There were lots of things the kids could choose from and they didn't have to select just one, they could attend multiple clubs if they desired. The teachers are dedicated to these activities and ensure that the kids benefit from their attendance.
