Dogwood Classical Academy

Dogwood Classical Academy is proud to bring tuition-free American Classical Education to Cabarrus County! We are a non-profit, tuition-free, public Charter School providing an American Classical Education with an emphasis on civic virtue.

We follow the Classical Education structure and a curriculum in Western Civilization taught in small classes by specially selected and trained teachers. Our students absorb moral virtues of good and evil through stories of heroes and villains that have passed down through our cultural heritage. They learn to appreciate America’s founding principles with the gifts and responsibilities that those principles bring to our lives as future citizens. In all things, our goal is instilling the love of beauty, the necessity of virtue, and the reward of wisdom that enables our students to live productive and prosperous lives in service to their communities and nation. We are proud to be a Hillsdale College Barney Charter Initiative member candidate school!
