Honestly, it's a pretty good school! I would say the math department is the strongest. In my opinion, the science department is the weakest, but I know some will disagree. The overall facility is pretty neat, but I wish they would renovate the bathrooms (they're nasty. Very.) Most teachers are very good and will actually try to help you if you feel lost of need help, even if it isn't about schoolwork. The library and librarians are especially nice. Overall, good school!

Dobyns Bennet has been very good for me, in terms of academics and social life. I have attended this school for four years now, and each year I have found myself being challenged in classes as well as developing strong friendships and bonds with the staff. Soccer has always been a very important part of my life and has allowed me to grow at Dobyns Bennett. The coaches allow each player to feel included, and help create a bond among the players. My greatest friends have come from the soccer team, and I would not be the person I am today if it were not for them. Additionally, Dobyns Bennett provides the opportunity to take a variety of classes, ranging from arts and design to college prep and advanced courses. This allows each student to feel welcome and grow in any area that they chose.
My experience at Dobyns Bennett High School was life changing; I not only discovered who I am and what my purpose is but also have grown in leadership, responsibility, teaching, integrity, and excellence. Where I have grown these traits were through the DB Band and AFJROTC program. Through Band and JROTC, I was able to break down so many walls in my life, I was always afraid of being different and showing who I truly was(I tried to fit in). But Band and JROTC taught me to be myself and stand out from the crowd. To take command of the group and be the inspiration, be the impact to others, and be the representation of Hope. Because of this, Band and JROTC have become the best experiences in my High School years and I wouldn't change a thing about Dobyns Bennett because of them. Of course, every High School has its Pros and Cons but Dobyns Bennett, in my opinion, because of what they have done for me, has more pros than they do cons. This is my High School experience.
