Divine Infant Jesus School Reviews

2 reviews
Parents are asked to volunteer in forming clubs where supervision is needed; however a majority of the teachers leave within 20 minutes after school is dismissed.

Scouting was prominent at DI for a good number of years; as the years went on, it appeared that parents use extra curricular activities as a baby sitting service; parents no longer want to get involved. Once the Pack Cubmasters passed away, the pack dissolved as parents did not want to step up and become involved.

This is also prominent in the school's sport's program; parents do not get involved and as a result the same group of parents coach, serve on the advisory boards and volunteer at games in capacities as referees, concessions and team cheerleaders.

Same parents are continuing to volunteer in regards to extra curricular activities and serve on advisory boards. Families who use the school need to be the one's who support both academic and spiritual development as well as good sportsmanship. Our son has graduated 4 years ago and we continue to support our school as we like other parents are concerned that the Catholic school is fading away and is out of reach in terms of affordability for the average family.
