I have been at DII since freshman year and it has been a wonderful experience! I have made life long friends and teachers who I can always email and visit. I have been here for four years and it was the best decision I ever made. DII has prepared me for the real world and taught me to be independent, as well as logical. I have had many opportunities at DII and I cannot express the gratitude I have for it. I have created a mark at DII with my academics and involvement in the school. I appreciate the neighborhood and the willingness to strive for success!

I've been at Disney 2 for a year now and it's a good school, the teachers are nice and understand their students and it seems that everyone can somewhat get along. The school is very diverse and they offer good programs like AP classes. The counselors are great and go out of their way to make the students feel comfortable. However, this school could use some improvements as well, the administration and the office staff are super rude. Summit is hard to understand. The school lacks school spirit and good sports. For example, we don't have a football team, that impacts our homecoming and makes students miss out on a lot of high school experience. The soccer team can't have home games at their actual school because we don't have room for a soccer field. XC, Track & Cheer are the least recognized sports and usually never end up having a season, high-school students can't even join XC or track. Disney is a good high school, but I would love to see improvements happen over the next years.
Disney II is a very diverse school where people of many racial backgrounds attend, the school itself and its administration pride themselves by this fact. The teachers, especially those that are part of the AP course are excellent with a strong passing rate that is mostly due to their unique and interactive teaching styles. But like any school there are a fair share of problems that should be addressed, such as implementing a stricter acceptance system where students are accepted based more so on the their behavior, this will then also influence the schools safety which will tend to rise due to the higher quality student body.
