On our campus, we are mostly made up of Hispanics. We've all grown up together which makes it easy to be accepted among others. Students get very involved especially for sports related events. I always found it interesting how our student body comes together during a big football game or basketball game. Although there is a team on the field and court we are supporting, there's also a team of students in the stands acting as one supporting our teams. I am a Hispanic Christian Baptist and straight male, I've been accepted widely throughout the school but I suppose it is because I am like most of the students. Besides my religion I fit in very well with the population on campus. Sadly, I see a lot of students of different races such as African Americans struggle to make friends on this campus. It is not that we are not accepting or welcoming but in a school and town full of Hispanics, seeing a different race causes students to act as though they aren't as important. However, as I've grown up in this school, I've seen that change. Many more African Americans have started to attend Dinuba High and they fit in just as well as any other race on this campus does. As for sexual orientation, to be honest, there is a significant amount of lesbian couples on campus and a handful of gays as well. It makes me a little uncomfortable but as I've grown older, I've learned to accept it for what it is and others have as well too. Overall, the school continues to become more and more accepting of different races and orientations that I would consider it to be a great environment for anyone!

I love everything about Dinuba high school! It's a really amazing school and it has so many positive perspectives. The teachers there are so nice! Everyone treats you with respect in that school. There is also amazing sports to play and cool rally's to enjoy, they provide the best food there also.
Extracurricular activities are taken very seriously at this school. There is a club fair every year displaying every single club on campus available to join. Some clubs include: The Leo Club, Ignite Club, Spirit Club, Hiking Club, Art Club, Fishing Club etc. A lot of clubs are offered and a lot of students join each club. There are some clubs that have hardly any students involved but others that have an astonishing amount, so students involved are about average. Sports are taken even more seriously, we have a very good Football, Track, Basketball, and Cross-Country team. Those are the 4 sports that stand out most when it comes to championships, national recognition, and students involved. All the other sports have plenty of volunteers and spirit maybe with the exception of our golf team. Our administrators are very supportive with each sometimes encouraging or even leading or coaching the clubs or sports on campus. The level of commitment for everything surprisingly is very high, as high school students, we tend to have busy schedules but everyone seems to make time for activities after school or during lunch. Overall our extra curricular activities are great, they are held after school and during lunch and each club contributes to the school campus or student body in some way.
