School district is split between communities. Great options for college courses. Older facilities. New referendum, but just fixing old issues instead of building for the future. Lacks career option courses at this time except some very basic skills in just woods and welding.
Overall, it's been a great experience at DGF. The education and opportunity is abundant. The sense of community and friendship is wonderful. The changes I would like to see are for the administration and staff to be more connected and on the same page in order to make certain everybody is on the same page with regard to educating the kids.
The teachers care, and it's a small school which is nice because the teachers know your name. DGF also offers many college classes that students can take. We offer a variety of activities and athletics. I think we could add some activities like tennis or soccer. Overall, I got a good education here and I enjoyed my high school experience. The school itself could use some renovating and remodeling, but it's not terrible.
