Fantastic Experience! If you are able to send your child to this school, you will have no regrets and neither will your child. CC has an extremely accepting cutlure and the brotherhood is REAl. All the hype that this school places on brotherhood is not an exageration. I would go back and do it all over again if I could. The teachers are awesome, it academically rigorous, and does well preparing its students for a collegiate career. Some major things I have found talking to other college students about high school that I find truly unique about shamrock culture are as follow: 1) The Drive 2) All sports and clubs are celebrated equally 3) The "We're all in this together" mentality.

To understand what CC is all about go there and become the tradition and become part of the family.

I ranked diversity at 5 stars because of the school's demographic which are indivitive of its cultural and ethnic diversity.

Here's how you know this school is incredible: When I graduated I had a sub 3.0 GPA. Most of my close friends had terrible GPAs too...10 years later, out of my five closest friends, one is a medical doctor, one is a CPA, one is an IT analyst for Ford, one is a regional supply chain manager, one is programmer, and even me, with my terrible high school GPA, managed to graduate from a Big Ten undergrad and a T14 law school with honors.

It's not luck or coincidence. This school thoroughly and rigorously prepares you to be successful throughout your life. CC teaches you how to think critically, dream bigger, and fight harder. If you are debating whether or not CC is worth it for your son, I'm here to tell you IT IS. I would gladly pay my parents back every cent they spent on my tuition. CC is a success factory, period.
Detroit Catholic Central High School is not just the best high school due to their impressive academic record, amazing athletics, and music program, but it is amazing due to the people there and the culture. As an all boys catholic school, there's a sense of brotherhood and care for one another. The friends you make at that school have your back no matter what. The culture and activities of the school are so unique that only a student truly understands and can appreciate.
