Fantastic Experience! If you are able to send your child to this school, you will have no regrets and neither will your child. CC has an extremely accepting cutlure and the brotherhood is REAl. All the hype that this school places on brotherhood is not an exageration. I would go back and do it all over again if I could. The teachers are awesome, it academically rigorous, and does well preparing its students for a collegiate career. Some major things I have found talking to other college students about high school that I find truly unique about shamrock culture are as follow: 1) The Drive 2) All sports and clubs are celebrated equally 3) The "We're all in this together" mentality.

To understand what CC is all about go there and become the tradition and become part of the family.

I ranked diversity at 5 stars because of the school's demographic which are indivitive of its cultural and ethnic diversity.

Catholic central is easily the best all boys catholic high school in the state hands down. As a rising senior this year, I’ve loved my last 3 years attending CC. The academics are rock solid, the band program is fantastic, the teachers are kind and knowledgeable, and the religious foundation has helped me mature into a better man. The brotherhood is second to none at CC, and it is very obvious when you step into the school. I’ve found that all of my fellow brothers have been very kind and supportive the whole time I’ve been here. The sports programs are incredibly highly ranked and there many clubs available to join if sports aren’t your sons thing (I’m in band and robotics). I would highly recommend sending your son here, it is an investment that will 100% payoff in regards to your son’s future.
Detroit Catholic Central High School (DCC)is an all boys private school. The school is known for it's academics, athletics and brotherhood. The rigorous academics are preparing me for college by teaching me to study and to stay organized. Teachers at DCC have motivated me to really want to excel. They can talk sports to break up a lesson or make a competitive game out of learning. It is a requirement that all students sit in the student section when attending a sporting event. This eliminates any uncomfortable feelings about finding a "cool" friend to sit with. The school culture exposes the true meaning of brotherhood. Classmates bond with one another at sporting events, mass and school assemblies. DRIVE week is one of the most memorable weeks of the school year. This is our largest school fundraiser that raises money to help pay for tuition for those who need financial assistance. Being a part of the brotherhood at DCC is an opportunity that I am honored to be part of.
