I have attended Desert Mirage High School for roughly four years. Through my experience being in Desert Mirage i have encountered both memorable and unpleasant moments. Desert Mirage High School has given me the opportunity to engage with others it offers quite some clubs, yet less than other schools. Given the time there you can experience both bumpy and amazing moments depending on the students enthusiasm and spirit. The ASB club provides rallys which have been both fun and unenthusiastic to many. Theres room for improvement not only in addition to clubs, but also attendance to students who need help. In a given circumstance a huge fight broke out, yet the staff managed to control the fight before it broke out through school. They discarded a two lunch period division which is not the best, but is understandable.Nevertheless, Desert Mirage High School is a school roughly small where you can make yourself at home.

Desert Mirage High School is overall a good school with some very passionate teachers both for their subject and students. My experience overall has been average, my teachers and classmates are wonderful. My classmates in my AP and honors courses are passionate and responsible students who constantly seek an academic challenge. However, as iv'e observed over the years there are many factors that seem to hold students back from reaching their full potential as scholars. For starters, there seems to be a lack of resources for students, one example is our textbooks, they are over seven years old and we only recently have received new textbooks. Moreover, another factor would have to be our environment, some students seem to not be really passionate about academics and engage in reckless acts, however numerous have potential to be great students.
Desert Mirage is a really calm and peaceful high school with many respectful students. Throughout all my four years in that school there has hardly been any school fights and there hasn't been many problems like the other high school around us. I like that many of our teachers are nice but very strict as well. I also like that many of our teachers like to help there students and they give them support on mostly anything. I in particularly like that many of the students are really respectful with the adults around the campus and in the classrooms. What I love about the school is the variety of sports and clubs there are. What I would like the school to add is more elective classes, AP classes, and foreign language classes. It would be nice to have something other than a Spanish class, like a French or Japanese class. Lastly, I would like the school to add a little more color to our campus so that it can look more joyful or more bright.
