I attended this school for my Junior and Senior years. The staff is very helpful with any questions the students have. They answered all my questions regarding college readiness as well as scholarship questions.

It is a smaller school, so I did not feel as overwhelmed while attending this school. I always got my questions answered in a timely manner and I did not feel like I got lost in the shuffle.

There were plenty of activities for student involvement an. I loved that if you got your work done early, you could work ahead and move onto a new class.

The principal had the student's best interest at hand. He was willing to help any students that attended this school. It was nice to meet the principal as an incoming student, as my past school was so big, that I never spoke to the principal.

This has been a good experience for me and was a good fit for my last two years. I would recommend this to school to anyone that is looking for a smaller sized high school!

Desert Hills High School was a pretty fun experience for me. Even though I did not get along with most of those kids, the teachers made it an interesting time for me. I enjoyed the fact that I could move at my own speed. I had started at a normal high school, but the size of the classes and the curriculum wasn't what I was expecting from it. Desert Hills really helped me along the way so that I could maximize my potential, and eventually giving me a chance to enroll into advanced courses. The teachers really cared about our learning and tried to help out as much as they could. They had a lot of patience with us, and made sure we were ready for the next phase. The lunches there were from a bus on wheels that coincidentally went to my dad's work as well. They were good just a bit pricy. Overall a good life experience to have at that age.
Desert hills is a great school. The administrators and teachers are very involved, caring, and kind. They teachers always try to better help students understand lessons and their work. I would like to see more classes and subjects added in school as well as more online class options and opportunities.
