DSISD is a small alternative high school with endless opportunities. Student learning pathways are self driven with students opting for AP, concurrent enrollment, internships, apprenticeships, vocational learning and more. Competency based, project based learning and a culture that values a work life balance.
DSISD has a great academic base with teachers dedicated to many diverse honors and AP classes. The school has a small population of unique individuals who seek challenge beyond what an average traditional high school can offer. The classes are relevant to today's society with advancing technology in computer science and engineering. The teachers are extremely kind and understanding. Overall a great school.
Competency and project-based learning system is very nice, unique school. Communication kinda sucks. Good idea for a school, kinda poorly implementEd.
