This school meets each student where they are and works with them individually. There is no one size fits all and they have mastered considering each students individual needs. There is a tremendous amount of help and resources within the staff. They are truly dedicated to assisting students reach their goals, whatever they may be. No judgement there just a genuine desire to help! Very diverse student population. My oldest son just graduated from DOS in May and my youngest is a junior here.

Denver Online High School is an excellent example of how kids can get a quality education outside of the typical "brick and mortar" school. The admin and faculty is amazing and connects really well with all the kids, adapting the learning environment appropriately. The educational program is flexible so that independent workers can excel and work ahead, and even take college concurrent enrollment, but it also provides great support to kids that need some extra help. I am the mom of a son that struggled in the traditional classroom setting and got lost in the large high schools. DOHS welcomed him, challenged him, and is an integral part of his success today!
Denver Online has been an amazing experience for my high school daughter. She was able to tailor her classes to what she needed and by the end of her junior year, she had already earned college credit. As a senior she is on track to go to college full time. The staff has worked with her on personalizing and blending her learning so that her very busy dance schedule doesn't interfere with school or vise versa. We love it!
