I grew up going to Denver Christian School, attending kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. I witnessed many shifts or changes to the buildings, staff, and students over the years, but the school and the policies and beliefs stayed the same! That is what made me most happy, having a solid foundation to grow up on and share with my fellow classmates who stuck with me through the years. The teachers were excellent, caring, and loving towrads all of their students, and I believe that also made such a wonderful impact on me and how I learned. The core Christian values that were established with the school stuck with me and helped me grow and establish my own solid Christian morals and values.

We have had all four of our children in public and private schools over the years, and this by far has been the best experience of any of the schools. Our oldest son has blossomed since transferring to DC as a Sophomore in High School. He was welcomed immediately by his peers and made to feel an important part of the school community by teachers, coaches, and parents. Having this kind of culture and environment saved him from surviving instead of thriving in a big school environment. The following year we enrolled our 6th grade daughter in the Middle School and we couldn't be happier with her experience either. She has participated in class trips, mission days, choir, band, cross country, soccer, and volleyball since coming to DC. The teachers, coaches and administrators all know her by her name and encourage her everyday. Not to mention the most important thing of all! They pray for her and talk to her about her faith in Jesus Christ. Amazing!
Denver Christian has been a great experience for both of my children. The community is very close and supportive. Because of the smaller size students can participate in a wide variety of activities. Students are cared for by the teachers and staff. Best of all a Christian perspective is woven throughout each subject and activity. If you haven't visited the campus, it is beautiful and vibrant!
