My experience so far at Denton High School is magnificent! The teachers are wonderful at delivering the academic content and for providing aid for students. The DHS spirit and culture is very diverse as the kids are very open and welcoming to other students and teachers. This personal relationship between students and teachers helps create our identity which allows for a safer environment here at Denton High. With over 100 clubs to choose from such as Key Club, K-pop dance, or even Clay Shooting, kids can feel welcomed and be involved in improving our school each day.

Denton High was an alright school. I love the sports program! Very welcoming, very competitive, and very supportive altogether. I've never seen teammates, and a school in general, so supportive of the entire team. At track meets, we all would support even one person from our school in a race, which I loved and it felt good. A change I would like to see in Denton High, is a change of staff. Staff aren't that well, and they don't do their job like it should be, so staff would really be the only thing I think should change!
One of the many things I like about Denton High is the friendly environment provided by both the staff and the students. The variety of organizations are limitless: we have everything from Pickleball Club to Aikido Club. The staff are very friendly and are ready to help when needed. The students, regardless of which grade, are able to interact without feeling left out. The principles and counselors are very supportive and encouraging towards the students and their goals. Although everyone is really friendly, I think the academics are very under-funded and football gets a majority of the funding. The coaches, regardless of which sport, are very supportive and push you to try your hardest. Overall, it's a very environmental friendly school, however, I would say the academics are severely underfunded.
