Some really fantastic staff when I used to go here. I switched earlier first semester. The teachers are all really great (esp the Spanish, Art, Careers, and senior english teachers) and care a great deal.

Schut really cares about the student population and will go out of her way to help the kids. However it can be a bit hard to try and push yourself at the school because of the lack of any high level academic classes. I wish that they would have added some more science classes or AP classes before I left.

I really appreciate how friendly and caring the teachers are at Delta Charter. One of the many great things about Delta Charter is how small it is, so the community is very tight-knit and close. Everybody at the school knows everybody, so all of the students are fairly close with one another. However, I will complain that the classes are fairly easy and don't teach much new material. The classes, which feel more like years of review, do not offer or provide a challenge for the students.
Personally, I believe I bring a different view to Delta Charter than many other students. Because of the isolated location of the school, it draws a certain crowd of students to it. I wish the campus was more diverse with more students with different opinions. I do however really like the teachers. Everyone genuinely cares about you succeeded in your future. The administration is all very kind, however not always the most helping with problems. They seem to kind of brush aside concerns students have. With that said, it would be nice to see more challenging courses for those who want to pursue a more rigorous future. I also feel like students at Delta do not have enough access to college opportunities. It would be extremely beneficial for more students to know more about the application process and about scholarships. Delta does a very good job of supplying students with food, no matter their income. It would be nice to see some healthier options though.
