Delbarton, in its whole, is a great and astounding place to learn and grow. Once in a while, you would have a teacher that didn't really care all that much, but the vast majority of teachers are highly passionate and knowledgeable. Teachers are almost always available after and before school and encourage and are eager to help students of all levels and capabilities. The school's athletics are overall outstanding, and Delbarton is especially good is hockey, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, and tennis (most state championships). At the school, there are plenty of extracurricular clubs and activities to join, and the school is always open to new ideas. The students at the school are extremely competitive with one another in all aspects of student life, and I believe that is what keeps the school so great. Delbarton teaches it's students not only the curriculum needed for college and beyond but also the integrity and character of which most schools fail. (can't conclude b/c out of box space)

Beautiful campus. Even with relatively new FAC and re-facing of Trinity, much of school facilities are antiquated or average. School is great fit for highly athletic - not mediocre...highly athletic. Expanded classes takes away from former closeness within the school. Honor code is not upheld as it should. Not highly academic. Grading very flexible. If you are searching out academics, local co-ed public school in good town will probably better meet need without the constantly increasing tuition. If you get a good teacher, they are great. Others not such a good experience. Not great prep for college. Same parents always involved. Boys that get key positions within school and college counseling correlates direct to those that significantly contribute financially to the school.
Delbarton truly is a unique place unlike any other. In New Jersey, there are some very great educational institutions like Pingry and Newark Academy, but in my (slightly biased) opinion, Delbarton rises above them all in terms of OVERALL COMMUNITY. Its academics are top notch, and its athletics are renowned and were even announced as the top program in the state for the 2016-2017 school year by Star Ledger and nj.com. Religion and the arts have a prominent position on campus, and the community is as tight-knit as anywhere, whether it be amongst the student body or the expansive alumni network. Ultimately an awesome place to be.
