I really enjoy the people who I'm surrounded by. The majority of people at Del Val are friendly and fun to be around. I believe the teachers are also very nice and helpful when it comes to needing extra help. One thing I'd like our school to change is becoming looser. At Del Val, we're not allowed to decorate our caps when we graduate or do a senior prank. Things like this excite seniors for their senior year and I wish we could do that at our school. Overall, Del Val is a very accepting place for anyone and everyone and I'm glad my high school experience was here!

For the last four years, Del Val has been a great place to learn. However, the administration is anything less than a good learning environment and needs work. For example this year we have had a problem with male students kicking off the auto-flushing systems on the toilets. The administration decided the fix the problem by locking all of the bathrooms in the school except 2, for both boys and girls. Now you can see the issue with this solution having almost one thousand students in the school with only about 10 bathrooms to use. There are other things about Del Val that do make it an amazing school though. Like the availability to take classes that offers college credit. The classes allow students to be dual enrolled in our local community college RVCC. Students also have the option to waive their way into classes they want to take even if they don't necessarily have the grades to get in.
Delaware Valley Regional Highschool was an amazing institution that allows individuals to be themselves no matter which click they are in. From music, sports, and academics all groups are welcomed and encouraged. A small school that allows everyone to feel like a family. Especially proud of the group called “Best Buddies” on campus. It is a phenomenal group that mixes mainstreamed students with those with a disablitly. Students all over the spectrum are allowed in the group and it gives ALL students the chance to interact and be acquaintenes/friends.
