DC is not only an excellent Christian School, but it is a community of families who care about their children receiving the best education possible, but also about one another. DC has been around for 70 years and many of us who attended K-12 have returned to teach there and to send our own children there because of the legacy of faith and commitment that we experienced. We are now at the point of having many of our second-generation students return as parents to enroll their children. That speaks volumes!

When looking at schools in the Philadelphia area there were three qualities that were non-negotiables: first, we wanted a school that had exemplary academics and prepared our children to thrive in the best collegiate institutions. Second, we wanted a school that was firmly rooted in scripture and was unwavering in its commitment to the truth. And third, we wanted a school that sought to nurture the whole student - physically, academically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally.

Delaware County Christian school is the only school in the greater Philadelphia area that checks all three boxes. As parents, we are grateful to God for the prayers that have been answered by this school. And while no school is perfect we cannot recommend this school enough to other prospective families.
When my wife and I moved to the Philadelphia suburbs from Dallas, TX, we were thrilled to discover Delaware County Christian School. Our three young children are receiving a nurturing, academically rigorous education that is rooted in a Christian worldview. It is so encouraging to me to watch their development (with ups and downs!) as whole persons and followers of Christ, and DCCS eagerly partners with us in that endeavor!
