I graduated from Del Sol Academy of Performing Arts with the 2019 Class.
As to my experience in Del Sol, I enrolled to Del Sol my Sophomore year, I was very anxious and scared to be in a new school, where I didn't know anyone and the system used at Del Sol (4-block schedule) was new to me. I was received with open arms by school administrators and students as well. What shook me the most was the diversity in school, there is so many cultures and they are all celebrated and respected by everyone. They also have many elective classes, and even more extracurricular activities. I had the chance to be part of their language club and the tennis team as well. And also every teacher always went out of their way to provide their students with every needed. To be honest, I couldn't have asked for a best High School experience, I am forever grateful with my teachers and counselors for giving me the right tools to be a successful person.
It is true what they say, Once a Dragon, Always a Dragon!

Del Sol is apart of the less represented schools or known schools. Del Sol is not know for their sports, academics, or performances. Everybody thinks they know Del Sol. From what I heard, a lot think Del Sol is just like every other Vegas High school, but it’s not. From my experience Del Sol is not the same and isn’t what many think it is, but better. Del Sol is very unique and although we may not have the greatest stats, the diversity, the community, and the culture is what makes Del Sol a great school. Del Sol is great especially to have a true high school experience. My experience has been full and amazing from Del Sol and will be something I hope others can have at their schools.
I definitely think this was a great choice to make. Del Sol really takes the idea of performing arts seriously as all of their encore classes have teachers who truly want to make a statement with their students. The whole atmosphere around school is one where any musician, artists or overall performer truly understand one anothers goals. Del Sol also does its absolute best to get students in its school spirit and be prideful of their achievements. No matter what, DSA reminds you that in Being a dragon, your high school experience will be a memorable one
