I loved my time at Del Oro! I was involved in sports medicine and made great friends through that! Some of my teachers were my biggest role models and made huge impacts on me. There was a lot of opportunities to challenge myself academically as well. I took a few AP classes that were difficult for me, but prepared me for college. I also took dual credit classes which I thought was very helpful. Another course that I loved was College Success because it helped me get ready for college and work on my applications.

I love Del Oro! The community, opportunities, and staff here are absolutely amazing. The leadership program teaches you so many things that you can take for your career. There are so many sports and clubs available also. Overall, the tradition of excellence has been carried throughout my four years being here.
I enjoyed Del Oro High School because of the sports that I played. I had a great time being captain of the women's soccer team, running cross-country and being part of track. I also love the clubs that they have at the high school because it helped me get involved with the FFA open house. I was able to give visitors a tour of the greenhouse that we have on campus. The one thing that bothered me about going to Del Oro was how old the campus was. We had to have our class in portable rooms that needed to be updated and removed. The people have finally pushed for new buildings on campus. The students and staff deserve to have a clean, functioning, and sustainable campus.
