Honestly, my experience with DeForest High School has been good and I know some people would say that's crazy since it's school but DeForest has extremely helpful and caring teachers, and the content of our learning we get there is excellent. As a student, I know that if I need anything any staff member in that school would help me even if they don't know me, and if I am struggling with something in a class my teacher will go over it with me until I get it. I have enjoyed going to DeForest and my time there is coming to an end soon which is sad but I am exited to move on to new things such as going to college and getting into a career that I am interested in.
DeForest has prepared me for college in many ways beyond the education itself. Preparing me for the financial, social, and academic challenges that I will face in college. Both the teachers and administration have been very helpful with any challenges that I may experience and have guided me through it all.
My school is good at advertising against bullying and equity between all people but there are still some teachers that believe they can be "friends" with ALL students. There are definitely some student and teacher relationships that are healthy and they understand their humor but I've had a teacher that is very blunt towards me, think its funny, but it's really just rude.
