DHS proves that in a world of division, that we can all learn simultaneously. I have learned so much at Deering that I wouldn't have learned at a suburban high school, both in and out of the classroom. Teachers and coaches all care about your well being, and the student body is on your side too. My only reservations are the administration and lack of funding. Having kids from all different backgrounds, including socio-economically speaking, doesn't leave copious resources for extracurriculars. However, this doesn't stop us from competing at the highest levels. It only means we have to do a little more fundraising!

YAY RAMNATION! I love deering, I apply myself to may classes, and they are very challenging. Our art classes a amazing, as well our science and math classes. We offer the most AP courses with amazing teachers, not to mention how we prove that diversity works, and only helps our school environment!
I absolutely enjoyed my past four years at Deering High School. I was give so many opportunities to express myself and become more of who I am. I think Deering could have many changes, but the most important change I can think of is support. Deering High School a lot of the time is seen as a trouble school, just because of how media represents us. However, I’ve met some of the smartest, most beautiful, absolutely themselves people at this school. In my grade alone we have a person going to Yale and another going to Columbia. Deering High School (and especially the teachers) have made me become a more confident, outspoken, and stronger person overall. I really enjoyed my four years at Deering High.
