Deer Creek Middle School Reviews

This school is consistently one of the top performers throughout Jeffco (and the metro area) every year in academics, the arts, and sports. The teachers are passionate not only about their subject area, but about teaching kids--and helping them through the difficult transition that comes with teenage years. The instrumental music program is also one of the top in the state of Colorado.

This was a great school and I will miss it, I loved everything here, exept I had problems with a very unfair and rude 7th grade science teacher, but other than that and the constant pizza for lunch (just bring a cold lunch), this was a great school, I'm also putting in a word for the worlds greatest band class and teacher!
The only thing I like about Deer Creek is their bands. They are amazing and so is the band director. He has helped many of us get through tough times at the school. The bulling is horrendous, even the teachers sometimes do it. The counselors aren't much help with this because if you talk to them they make it worse. This past year, seventh grade, I was bullied by three different people. All they did was talk to them, and it got worse. One of them blamed me for bulling them first, so I got into trouble not them. My last huge problem is the homework load. In sixth and seventh grade I never went to see my brother or sister play their soccer or baseball games. I had to stay home doing my homework, having no social life. I had to give up the sport I loved just to stay on top of my work. For all of these reasons I have decided to move schools to Falcon Bluffs, for my eighth grade year.
