Outstanding school! It offers many opportunities and classes that some other schools don't offer, for example, a large selection of AP classes. The teachers are amazing and as enthusiastic as the students are! Students are incredibly kind and easy to become friends with.

I love the teachers. They are extremely supportive and are willing to help at any time! The academics are excellent at this school. There are a lot of resources given to students that make learning a lot easier and fun. However, there isn't much diversity at this school. Also, the cafeteria food isn't the best. Most of the students are ready for college due to the intensive ap courses offered at Deep Run.
Deep Run High School prepares you very well for college. With a lot of AP courses offered and most students applying to 4 year colleges, you will definitely feel well prepared to transition to a 4 year college after graduation. Counselors in my experience were great and really cared about student success (especially helpful with college process). Classes and academics were either challenging or relatively easy depending on the path you chose to take in high school. You can choose to take a lot of AP's and become very involved lending to a challenging academic experience, or take easier classes if you are not going the traditional college route or are applying to schools that do not look as much at AP's.
